Address: 65 County Rd, D-66, Las Cruces, NM 88012 From I-25/US 70 Interchange: Take Hwy. 70 East 7 miles to Holman/Dunn exit. Go north (left) under highway, on Holman Rd., approx. 3.5 miles to Isaacks Ranch on left. Watch for ISAACKS RANCH sign at county road. (There are also three RED balls on the overhead wires at the entrance to the County Rd at Holman) If coming from the west (AZ) stay on I-10 to I-25 north to US 70 east (exit #6). It’s a few extra miles, but saves about 10 stop lights.

Sat: Dressage-8:00 AM; Cross-Country- 12:00 Noon.
Sun: Show Jumping-9:30AM.
Combined Test Dressage will run on Saturday and Show Jumping on Sunday.
Ribbons and Prizes to be awarded immediately following each division including a Victory Lap for the riders! Note: If more than 70 entries, these times may be adjusted

New USEA Membership/Horse Registration Policy: Effective December 1, 2016 BN riders and BN horses must be member/registered with the USEA. USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full or Life) and horse registration (Limited for T, N, BN or Full) are required at all levels. NOTE: USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee. These association fees should be added to your entry fee, per the itemized Fees Enclosed section of the Entry Form, totaled with the other applicable fees, and sent to the event Show Secretary with your entry. Competitors and Horses competing at Beginning Novice level and above require USEA membership; include information on entry form(s).
Pre-Comp and Starter competitors are exempt from USEA membership/non-membership fees and USEA Starter Drugs/Meds Fees.
CT competitors are exempt from the USEA Starter Drugs/Meds (D&M)Fees, but competitors who are not a USEA member must pay the $25 non-member fee regardless of level. Preliminary level or above, riders, owners and trainers must be individual members of the U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) or for non-members, participants must pay a $45.00 U.S. Equestrian Federation Show Pass fee. If one person holds more than one position, e.g., rider and trainer, only one payment of $45 is required. A copy of USEF membership card(s) (P Division only) must accompany your entry.

Draw checks to Las Cruces Horse Trials. Payment in full expected with all entries received. Entry includes a $25.00 non-refundable office fee. There is an additional $30 office fee for any changes after the closing date (CD).

Entry per HT Division: $225.00; Starter/Pre-Comp: $180.00; Combined Test: $125.00; Double Entries $25.00

Entry fee includes a rider’s dinner on Saturday. One ticket per rider. Additional tickets available for $10.00 to be paid with entry.

Stabling: 4 nights – $140.00; 3 nights – $110.00; 2 nights  $80.00; 1 night – $45.00
Reminder there is a $10.00 per stall refundable cleaning fee charged at time of registration. Refund given prior to your departure at time of inspection by Stabling Steward.

• Before Closing Date: less $25.00 non-refundable office fee.

• After Closing Date: less $25.00 non-refundable office fee ONLY if place can be filled from a waiting list.

• Withdrawals must be in writing (emails OK)

• Refunds upon receipt of veterinarian report. Report must be mailed (or emailed) to Show Secretary within 2 days of withdrawal.

• Competition Cancellation: Partial refund, after expenses are paid.

If show is under subscribed by closing date, date will be extended. Entries accepted during extended close date period will be charged an additional $25.00 processing fee.

Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entries can be completed online via the recommended USEA Xentry system or by printing out the USEA 2018 HT Entry Form: sending to the address above. Failure to do so could result in delayed processing. Entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. There is a $30 office fee for any changes after closing date.Please fill out EMERGENCY INFORMATION on upper right-hand corner of the USEA entry form. We will issue numbers to be used in the reusable plastic competition pinny and we will have some on hand for sale at the show

Competitor Information

Prizes: 1st – 3rd place, per division
Ribbons: 1st – 8th,per division.
Stabling is limited to 80 permanent stalls on grounds. Stalls are 10×10 with an open gate. Stabling Fee includes stall door &2 bags of shavings (bedding). Additional shavings available on-site or request on Stabling Form@ $10.00/bag. Please pay with entry. Stabling fees covers Thursday AM to Sunday PM with additional days before or after event@ $25/day. Regular stabling fees apply for non-compete horses. Tack stalls based on availability and regular stabling fees apply.
PLEASE NOTE:There will be a $10.00 per stall refundable stall cleaning fee charged at time of registration. Refund given prior to your departure at time of inspection by Stabling Steward. Trailer-in fee – $30/per horse. Stall arrangements for extra horses or tack will be made after closing date, if available. Please note on stabling form if you are stabling with a group or have special needs. Camping: Rough camping permitted on grounds. No showers available, no hook-ups, no waste dump.

NOTE: The USEF tests are NEW for 2018! Make sure you are using the correct test! Test & Arena Sizes: All P 2018 USEF Preliminary Test A- Sm. All T-2018 USEF Training Test A-Sm. All N-2018 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. All BN-2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Starter-2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Pre-Comp– USDF Intro Level Test A-Sm Arenas are sand/clay mix.

Cross-CountryCross-country course closes Saturday Sept 30th, two weeks prior to show.
We are working on a new course for this year. Some new jumps and paths. Be patient if you come schooling and be extra patient as we work through our changes! P – 2700 m @ 520 m/mi. T – 2300 m @ 420 m/min. N – 1900 m @ 375 m/min. BN – 1600 m @ 300 m/min. Starter 1500 m @ 300 m/min.Pre-Comp – 1200 @ 250 m/min.
All courses: Up to standard courses with level appropriate questions. Minimal terrain & sand footing courses. Terrain: Flat, open desert with mesquite and yucca.
This is a working cattle ranch and could have donkeys. Elevation is about 4000 feet.

Other Information:
Entry limit: 90. Rider limit 2 horses/level, 3 horses/entire event. Management reserves the right to add, divide or combine any Division and accept or refuse any entry in accordance article EV 120. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant. Competitors must state preferences under the *Eligible Section and complete Rider Date of Birth (JR, YR, SR Amateur or Professional) on the USEA entry form. 
The mobile grill (concession) will be on grounds all day Saturday and until Noon on Sunday. Dogs must be leashed at all times, including barn area~ $25.00 fine for each loose dog. This will be monitored, especially in the barn area. Please empty your water bottles before throwing away. Please do not put bags of hay in trash barrels. Put your empty shaving bags in trash dumpsters on north and south side of barn, not in the trash barrels. And please, please, please do not put trash in your muck piles along the fences. There will be plenty of trash cans around the grounds for your trash. 
Cross Country schooling allowed 45 minutes after the last horse on Sunday, October 14 for $25.00; Trainer will need to pick up a new pinny number, pay the fee and sign a new release form at the office.
